When you use GPRS-enabled mobile for the first time, you need to define the WAP setting and if you want to use the phone with your laptop computer, you also have to define GPRS dial-up settings.
There are several ways to configure these parameters:
Manually: Input them manually using the mobile keypad. In this scenario the WAP service provider provides the settings e.g. on the web site.
Over the Air (OTA): The parameters are received with an OTA message. You will get the settings by sending an SMS with a special string to the service provider's OTA settings service number and soon you will receive the settings with an SMS. By accepting the settings you will have them configured in your mobile.
